Twelve Dorsey & Whitney LLP lawyers in its London office have been ranked as Leading Individuals, Next Generation Partners or Key Lawyers in The Legal 500 United Kingdom 2025 edition demonstrating the strength of its team.

The Legal 500 United Kingdom 2025 recognised the following Dorsey attorneys and practices:

Dorsey’s London Corporate team has again been commended for its expertise in domestic and international M&A. The Legal 500 notes that the team provides “exceptional client service, expertise, commerciality and agility”, and “always put the client experience at the centre of everything they do”. The practice’s “broad capabilities” and “strong client roster” were also praised, with Motor Fuel Group cited as one of several high-profile clients.

Kate Francis leads the practice and is described as a “standout performer” for her work in multi-jurisdictional M&A across the technology, insurance and professional partnerships sectors. Other Partners recognised include Fabrizio Carpanini, for his experience in international joint ventures and corporate finance, Carsten Greve, for advising Norwegian businesses and individuals on M&A matters and Stewart Worthy for investment work.

Dorsey was further praised for its expertise advising AIM-listed companies and mid-market investment banks on equity issuances, tender offers and takeovers. The guide highlights the team’s strong cross-border capabilities, particularly in advising US and Chinese clients on UK and EU regulatory matters on securities transactions and on their exceptional responsiveness and breadth of experience.

The London dispute resolution team was also highly ranked, with the guide praising its flexibility and agility, which means it is “capable of holding its own against some of the biggest-hitting […] litigation practices in the City”. The guide commends the team for representing “multinational companies, state entities and private clients”, and for its expertise in eDiscovery.
