International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that nine lawyers in the Firm’s Salt Lake City office were ranked by Chambers and Partners in its annual survey, Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2016. Dorsey Partners Alan Bell, Samuel Gardiner, David Marx and Nolan Taylor were ranked in the Corporate/M&A practice area, with Senior Attorney David Day being named an “Associate to Watch.” Partners William Prince and Wells Parker were ranked in the Environment, Natural Resources & Regulated Industries practice area. Partner Steve Marsden was ranked in the Litigation: General Commercial practice area. Partner Marcus Simon was ranked in the Intellectual Property practice area. These individual lawyer rankings in Salt Lake City are among a total of 52 individual lawyer rankings in nine U.S. Dorsey offices.

In addition to this individual recognition, Chambers also ranked Salt Lake City’s Corporate/M&A and Litigation: General Commercial practice groups, with the Corporate/M&A practice group being ranked as Band 1, the highest ranking available for a practice group. These practice rankings were among 21 state practice rankings received by nine U.S. Dorsey offices. The Firm’s Native American Law practice was also ranked on the national level.
