China Business Law Journal announced on February 22, 2022 that Dorsey & Whitney LLP is the winner of “Deals of the Year 2021”award for advising R&F Properties in sale of its 70% stake in the Integrated Logistics Park near Guangzhou Airport to Blackstone, with the property being valued at approximately US$1.0 billion. The Dorsey team was led by partners Hilda Chan (Hong Kong office) and Karen Yiqin Fan (Shanghai office).

Dorsey Awarded Coveted Associate Membership by Shanghai Bar Association

Dorsey & Whitney has become one of the rare international law firms awarded an associate membership to the Shanghai Bar Association. The Shanghai Bar Association has extended its associate membership to a handful of international (non-Chinese) law firms after many years of deliberation. The members of this group are described as “specially invited associate members.” Dorsey is one of only seven US law firms to have achieved this honor.
