Dorsey’s London private equity group represented the three senior partners of Rees Pollock, an accounting and business advisory firm, on the sale of the business to Blick Rothenberg (“BR”). BR is part of the private equity backed (HG Capital), Cogital Group.

The acquisition is part of Cogital’s growth strategy and is another step forward in their plans to build a technology driven international business services group strengthening their presence in the entrepreneurial business sector.

Rees Pollock has historically worked with many mid-market UK private equity sponsors on deal structuring and due diligence mandates.

The Dorsey team was led by partner Fabrizio Carpanini. Of Dorsey’s contribution, Rees Pollock senior partner Jonathan Munday said, “Having been involved, as an advisor, in a number of similar transactions over the years being on the ‘other side of the fence’ was very different. Fabrizio and his team helped tremendously in making sure the transaction ran smoothly and to the agreed timetable, a rarity in my experience.”
