Overview

Grace employs a holistic and analytical approach to relentlessly advocate for and deliver favorable results to her clients.

Grace focuses her practice on guiding employers through all stages of litigation, from the demand stage through the appellate stage. Grace defends employers facing wrongful termination claims involving whistleblower retaliation, discrimination on the basis of race, gender, sex, disability, and religion, and failure to pay earned wages. Grace further represents employers facing claims of severe sexual harassment and sexual assault, workplace safety violations, defamation, and unfair competition and trade secrets.

In addition to litigating, Grace advises companies regarding internal processes, procedures, and investigations for discrimination, harassment, bullying, and retaliation in the workplace and works with clients to ensure their compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations such as leave and accommodation requests and drug testing of employees. 

Grace has represented clients at administrative and court trials and is well-versed in all facets of trial preparation including pretrial submissions, motion practice, and witness preparation.

  • Won summary judgment in state court action dismissing all claims against employer facing retaliatory termination accusations.
  • Won motion to dismiss in state court dismissing all claims against client of discriminatory practices in public accommodations.
  • Successfully advised supervisors and prevented a union campaign from proceeding to the election stage for employer client.
  • Won an opposition to a motion to compel written discovery and a site inspection of a large employer in federal court.
  • As part of a trial team, obtained a (partial) defense verdict in state court for an employer client facing discrimination and retaliation claims.
