What new and revolutionary digital health technologies are being celebrated in care delivery across the country? What are the struggles and strategies necessary for provider organizations to stay abreast of these trends? How real are the changes, and how long will it take? Our keynote speaker, Ron Amodeo, will tackle these questions and related legal issues using his experience strategizing, developing, and implementing digital health programs across the care continuum.
Ron Amodeo was previously the Chief Innovation & Growth Officer at Regional Health in South Dakota. His primary areas of responsibility included strategies related to business growth in the marketplace, service line enhancement, connected health, innovation and ventures, and partnerships/collaborations. He was also responsible for Marketing and Sales, Patient Experience, Community Relations, and developing new revenue streams. In this role, Ron leveraged his deep experience in healthcare and technology to helm Regional Health’s digital health (connected care) strategy and implementation. Prior to his work at Regional Health, Ron was responsible for the enterprise-wide evaluation and development of strategic new business opportunities at Mayo Clinic. Key projects included directing joint venture activities in remote condition management via digital health, retail health/wellness, and regenerative medicine. International projects included developing a medical tourism venture in Asia and business initiatives/relationships in India, Ireland, U.K., Saudi Arabia, UAE and the Czech Republic.
We’re delighted to have Ron join us as speaker and as an expert advisor to our Dorsey Health Strategies team.
