Lilian has a wealth of experience in trademark prosecution, anti-counterfeiting, cross border IP enforcement and litigation, IP licensing, and IP due diligence in M&A transaction matters. Her practice encompasses brand and copyright protection, domain name disputes, technologies, licensing, franchising, enforcement, litigation as well as managing trademark portfolios for multinational clients. Additionally, Lilian’s practice area includes patent prosecution, enforcement, and related advisory work.

- Provided IP due diligence assistance and advisory work to a world famous US beverage company in a multi-party, cross borders (China, US and Hong Kong) asset sales transaction.
- Advised and assisted a famous clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in the U.S in combatting trademark squatting and gaining back their house brand from a trademark squatter in China after several years of various trademark actions.
- Advised and assisted a rapidly-growing US brand for hunting clothing and accessories in its IP needs in entry and expansion of its business in China, including helping the brand to secure trademark registrations, copyright registrations and PRC Customs recordal of IP rights for border protection.
- Advised and assisted a leading US agricultural cooperative organization in successfully preventing trademark piracy of its house brand by third party in China.
- Represented a non-profit inter-government trade organization based in New York in trademark proceedings before the PRC Trademark Review and Adjudication Board seeking to overturn rejections of its trademark applications by the PRC Trademark Office.
- Represented a well-known online jewelry company based in Seattle in court appeals seeking to overturn unfavorable trademark opposition review decisions.
- Represented a New York-based jewelry company in a trademark invalidation proceeding seeking to recover pirated house brand from a Chinese squatter in China.
- Represented a US medical device company in a trademark proceeding in China seeking to recover its Chinese house mark.
- Assisted the world’s largest travel luggage company in securing design registrations in Hong Kong.
