Nathan Orme

Nate’s practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, opinions, and counseling of clients across a variety of industries including chemical, energy, mining, manufacturing, and healthcare industries. He helps clients build strong domestic and global patent portfolios by developing and executing filing strategies that meet client needs in view of domestic and international laws.

Nate’s experience includes a wide range of technologies, such as chemical separation, polymers, batteries, advanced materials, drill bits and bearing apparatuses used in oil and gas exploration drilling systems, electrochemical devices, plasma reformation devices and processes, medical devices, mechanical devices, and software. Nate prepares legal opinions and advises clients regarding infringement and validity issues.

Prior to joining Dorsey, Nathan was a patent agent at a company specializing in advanced engineering ceramic materials and electrochemical devices.
