With over fourteen years of engineering and R&D experience, Dorian focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications for clients across diverse industries.

  • Conducted invention disclosure meetings, prepared patent applications, and advised on prosecution strategies across a wide range of technologies.
  • Analyzed IP portfolios to identify targeted content and inform filing and investment decisions.
  • Evaluated prior art to advise clients during patent drafting and prosecution, as well as in connection with pending litigation matters.
  • Supported in house counsel at multinational companies by preparing examiner ready applications and helping coordinate prosecution across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assisted clients in developing defensive publications to mitigate competitor filings.
  • Provided technical assessments to guide portfolio development.

Engineering and R&D Experience:

  • Semiconductors: on-die, package (e.g., BGA, FBGA, TSOP), and multi-chip (e.g., DIMM, Managed NAND, MCP) signal-integrity simulation and design characterization; electrical, parametric, and physical characterization of DRAM, SRAM, PSRAM, NAND, NOR, PCM, HBM, HBS, and CMOS-imager memory products; wafer fabrication; data mining; development and characterization of ultra-thin gate dielectrics for MOSCAPs, MOSFETs, and CHEMFETs.
  • Power: design, specifications, transformers, switchgear, adjustable-frequency drives, and transmission lines.
