International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Betty Arkell has been named to the Denver Business Journal’s 2018 “Who’s Who in Impact Investing” and was recognized during a special reception at Denver’s CTRL Collaborative.

Ms. Arkell leverages extensive corporate finance and M&A transactional experience to guide companies through the entire corporate lifecycle, from formation through growth and planned exit. Her clients include established and emerging growth companies as well as venture capital and other private equity funds.

She regularly acts as outside counsel to companies and their boards of directors advising on corporate governance issues, strategic plans, equity and debt financings, and mergers and acquisitions. She draws on considerable involvement with community and nonprofit organizations, including membership on numerous boards, to deliver prudent guidance and advice to management teams.

The Denver Business Journal partnered with Denver’s Impact Finance Center to create the second annual "Who's Who in Impact Investing” list. The collaboration is part of an effort to build a robust directory of impact investing professionals in the Rocky Mountain region to help advance the impact investing movement. The directory aims to ensure that those looking to take their first steps into impact investing can connect with qualified individuals and businesses quickly and efficiently.
