Dorsey advised Freedom 3 Capital (F3C) on the successful capital raise of Freedom 3 Investments VI, LP (Fund 6), which held its final closing last week and accepted more than $400 million of total commitments. Fund 6 provides private credit to support the growth and strategic initiatives of primarily family-owned businesses.

“Our longstanding relationship with Dorsey and their market-leading guidance contributed to the success of this fundraise,” said Jason Block, Partner and CIO of F3C. “We appreciate their partnership and insights, particularly in a period of evolving investor preferences and market conditions.”

“On behalf of the entire Dorsey team, it was a privilege serving as legal counsel for Freedom 3’s successful fundraise of Fund 6,” said Brad Pugh, Dorsey Partner and Co-Head of the Investment Management and Private Funds Group. The Dorsey team was led by partners Larry Makel and Brad Pugh and included partners and associates across a number of Dorsey’s offices.

Fund 6 is F3C’s largest fund to date and builds on more than 13 years of partnering with companies in the business & consumer services, telecommunications & technology, and industrials sectors. Fund 6 has already invested capital in six portfolio companies and continues to actively evaluate new opportunities.
