International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP is pleased to announce that Erin Bryan, an attorney in the Firm’s Minneapolis office, has been elected Chair of the Minnesota Lavender Bar Association (MLBA), a nonprofit organization of legal professionals who are members or allies of Minnesota’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.

MLBA envisions a Minnesota where LGBT legal professionals, clients, and community members are treated equally and without discrimination. In pursuit of this goal, MLBA’s mission is to promote equality and justice in the legal profession and the LGBT community in Minnesota. Ms. Bryan’s practice consists of commercial bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency matters, as well as consumer regulatory and compliance matters.  She began her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert J. Kressel, United States Bankruptcy Judge. She previously worked in the law division of U.S. Bank as a senior corporate counsel.  Ms. Bryan has been named one of the “40 Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40” (Class of 2017) by The National LGBT Bar Association, and an Up & Coming Attorney by the Minnesota Lawyer (Class of 2014).
