Shane Kanady

Shane represents companies across industries in transactions, providing practical, business-focused counsel informed by a diverse legal background. His deal experience includes negotiating deal terms, preparing purchase and sale agreements, and managing entity restructurings. He has further experience in various finance and restructuring matters, including credit facility negotiations and bankruptcy/reorganizations. Further, he enjoys assisting uniquely Alaskan clients in their various matters, including Alaska Native Corporations, municipalities and boroughs, and more.

Born and raised in Anchorage, Shane understands the unique challenges that often face Alaska clients. To that end, prior to joining Dorsey, he completed clerkships with both the Alaska Superior Court and Alaska Supreme Court.
