Blake Hill

Blake brings a broad scientific and engineering background, with a specialization in materials engineering, that allows him to contribute effectively across diverse technical fields ranging from medical devices to semiconductor and electronic materials. He readily picks up new technologies and distills the subject matter of the invention into clear, robust patent claims. Blake has experience in patent drafting, office actions, and patent portfolio management. Prior to transitioning to patent law, Blake earned his undergraduate in biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering and developed hands-on technical expertise with a variety of fields, including semiconductor fabrication, advanced material characterization, medical devices, and the management and operation of research-grade vacuum systems for various deposition methods while leading a research laboratory. As a U.S. Army veteran, Blake also brings a mission-driven mindset and strong sense of responsibility to his work.
