Jake is an associate in the Tax, Trust and Estates practice group. He helps clients navigate sophisticated tax planning, compliance, and controversy matters, bringing clarity and efficiency to intricate financial challenges. Jake regularly advises clients on strategic structuring and formation of business and investment entities, with a particular emphasis on designing governance frameworks and economic arrangements for partnerships and limited liability companies.
His practice extends to succession planning, assisting clients in the thoughtful and tax-efficient transfer of assets to future generations. Jake’s ability to clearly communicate complex issues ensures his clients feel informed and confident throughout every step of the process.
Jake currently serves as the Chair of Dorsey’s Associate Council.
Before joining Dorsey, Jake was a State and Local Tax Consultant at Wipfli LLP and the Online Editor for the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice at Iowa Law.
