Chambers USA 2018 Leading Firm

International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that four lawyers in the Firm’s New York office were recognized by Chambers and Partners in its annual survey, Chambers USA:  America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2018. Dorsey Partners Sandra Edelman and Bruce Ewing were ranked in the Intellectual Property: Trade Mark & Copyright practice area. Partners Steven Khadavi and Richard Silberberg were listed as  “recognized practitioners” for Nationwide Capital Markets: Debt and Equity and for International Arbitration: Arbitrators, respectively. These individual lawyer recognitions in New York are among a total of 57 ranked lawyers and eight “recognized practitioners” across nine U.S. Dorsey offices. 

In addition to this individual recognition, Dorsey’s Intellectual Property: Trademark & Copyright practice and its Corporate/M&A practice in the New York office were also ranked by Chambers.  These practice rankings were among 22 Dorsey practices that were ranked and four more that were otherwise recognized for 2018 by Chambers on a state or national basis. 

Chambers surveys and interviews clients and lawyers across the United States to determine which firms and attorneys are considered leaders in their field.  Rankings assess key qualities in the legal field, including technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence and commitment.
