International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP represented CHS Inc.,  a leading global agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the United States, in an SEC-registered underwritten public offering of 20,700,000 shares of new Class B Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock, Series 4, with total proceeds of $517.5 million.

Proceeds are expected to be used to fund construction of a nitrogen fertilizer plant to be located in Spiritwood, North Dakota, which will provide the region’s farmers with enhanced supplies of crop nutrients essential to raising corn and other crops.
