The IRS has extended the period during which employers may prepare Forms 1095-C for employees. As employers have been pushing to prepare their reporting, employers are having a number of questions on how to report special cases and how to file the Forms 1095-C with the IRS. This seminar will address reporting special cases using Form 1095-C, including COBRA, employees on long-term disability, expatriates, retiree medical participants, directors, and employees receiving allowances under the Davis-Bacon Act or Service Contract Act. It will also provide an overview of preparing Form 1094-C, including reporting controlled groups and the impact of mergers and acquisitions.
