Overview

Ashley is a passionate, creative, and results- oriented advocate who helps clients achieve their goals by leveraging strong negotiation and proven litigation skills.

Ashley understands her clients are looking for pragmatic and strategic guidance, and, to that end, she works tirelessly to ensure her clients understand all options. A fierce advocate, Ashley recognizes negotiations frequently serve clients’ ultimate goals and has refined those skills over thousands of cases. However, when settlement is not an option, Ashley is a tenacious and unwavering litigator in trial.

Prior to joining Dorsey, Ashley tried more than a dozen cases to verdict, including cases involving life without parole.

  • Conducted an internal investigation on behalf of a Minnesota community medical center.
  • Secured dismissal of first-degree murder charges (Hennepin County, MN).
  • Secured dismissal of felony tax fraud charges (Hennepin County, MN).
  • Obtained jury verdict of acquittal on all charges, including 2nd degree DWI (Hennepin County, MN).
  • Obtained jury verdict of acquittal on assault charges (Hennepin County, MN).
  • Obtained M’Naughten mental illness bench trial acquittal of assault charges (Hennepin County, MN).   
  • Obtained jury trial verdict of acquittal in criminal driving case (Hennepin County, MN).
