FinCEN has issued its final regulations that will significantly modify the collection of “beneficial ownership information” (“BOI”) for legal entities. The first portion of this Roundtable will analyze the new rules, including preparations that banks and others should begin to anticipate prior to the effective date.
In addition, the second portion of the Roundtable will provide an update on U.S. Russian sanctions, with particular emphasis on compliance issues banks and other financial institutions need to understand as “U.S. persons” that are subject to the sanctions regime.
