The Anchorage Community Development Authority (ACDA), Dorsey & Whitney, and Agnew::Beck are pleased to announce Anchorage’s second annual P3 Summit that will provide an in-depth discussion of the tools and methods available to private/public owners and redevelopment authorities to revitalize the Anchorage community. 

The morning session of the Summit will review redevelopment tools, cost, feasibility, changes in the zoning code, tax policy, and reinvestment focus areas which will be presented by Andrew Halcro from ACDA, Shanna Zuspan from Agnew::Beck, and Chris Schutte, Michelle McNulty and Nicole Jones-Vogel from the Municipality of Anchorage.

The afternoon session will focus on P3 structures, learning from Missoula, Montana, and opportunity zones which will be presented by Diana Parks from Dorsey & Whitney, Dale Bickell from the City of Missoula, Brent Campbell of WGM Group, Joe Easton from the Missoula Parking Authority, Craig Nolte from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and Melissa LaFayette of the National Development Council.

This year’s Summit has attracted 50+ attendees from the development, planning, housing, government, real estate, and finance industries. This year’s Summit will cover the Anchorage area as well as State of Alaska policies, which will serve as a platform to present the importance of Public Private Partnerships (P3’s), federally designated opportunities zones, and housing that will revitalize the Anchorage area.

“With a changing economy comes the need to adapt. The P3 method is the future of economic development in Anchorage as well as designated incentive areas for the Municipality of Anchorage,” said ACDA Executive Director, Andrew Halcro.
