Sharena is a trusted legal strategist who focuses her practice on all aspects of real estate, including renewable energy real estate transactions, purchase and sale, leasing, development, and finance matters.

Sharena is known for delivering forward-thinking counsel and results-driven solutions across a wide range of complex transactions. She represents developers of solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and conventional energy projects, guiding them through every phase of development with clarity and confidence, from negotiating critical land rights—such as leases, easements, and crossing agreements—to overseeing the purchase and sale of energy assets.

Her practice also involves advancing the business goals of developers, national banking institutions, private lenders, nonprofit organizations, equity investors, and real estate investment trusts. Whether structuring multi-party financing arrangements or resolving intricate title, permitting, or land use issues, she brings discipline, diligence, and deep subject-matter knowledge to every matter.

Sharena negotiates and drafts a wide array of critical documents—purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, deeds, mortgages, construction contracts, loan and intercreditor agreements, and more, all with her clients’ needs in mind. She also has experience navigating tax-incentivized transactions involving Renewable Energy Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits, and Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits. Her meticulous due diligence work ensures her clients are positioned for success in even the most complex legal landscapes.
