D. Alexander Hurst is an experienced finance and capital markets attorney specializing in advising borrowers and lenders in high-growth, capital-intensive industries and innovative funding strategies.

Drawing on his experience as in-house counsel at fintech and proptech companies, Alexander provides clients with a vital business-minded perspective on transaction execution and operationalization.

Alexander advises borrowers, lenders, arrangers, and agents across a variety of financing transactions. His experience spans traditional and innovative financing structures, including asset-based financing, securitizations, revolving credit facilities, term loans, venture debt, and cross-border financing. Alexander also advises on cutting-edge and esoteric financings, including those related to digital assets and on-chain capital strategies.

An advocate for sustainable business, Alexander also holds an Executive Masters in Sustainability Leadership and leverages this expertise to advise on ESG-linked financing and the development of corporate sustainability frameworks.
