The London office of international law firm Dorsey & Whitney has strengthened its dispute resolution team with the appointment of Jonathan Christy as associate.

Dorsey & Whitney is a full-service firm headquartered in the US, with a network spanning North America, Europe and Asia. The London office, which is the firm’s European hub, comprises more than 25 experienced lawyers and focuses on mid-market and cross-border transactions, commercial litigation and arbitration, underpinned by a strong transatlantic capability.

Jonathan joins from Mills & Reeve, where he spent eight years developing extensive experience across corporate and commercial disputes. An accomplished disputes lawyer, Jonathan has particular expertise in founder and shareholder issues, directors’ duties claims and breach of contract matters. He has significant experience across both litigation and arbitration, and a strong track record managing complex cross-border disputes.

The London disputes team is led by partner Aymen Khoury, who advises on commercial matters in English High Court proceedings and international arbitrations, with a particular focus on the Middle East. A fluent Arabic speaker, he specialises in contractual disputes, including Oil & Gas disputes and post-M&A matters, as well as banking and finance matters. The team also includes partner Joseph Lewin, who specialises in high value cross-border dispute resolution and international arbitration, with particular expertise in the technology and restructuring sectors, and is recognised as a Next Generation Partner for Commercial Litigation in The Legal 500 2025. The team serves multinational corporations, state entities, and private clients.
