Dorsey & Whitney’s London Corporate team and two of its partners, Kate Francis and Mark Taylor, have been ranked by Chambers & Partners for Corporate/M&A in its recently released annual survey, Chambers UK 2026.

The Dorsey London office has again been ranked in Band 3 in the Corporate/M&A: £10-100 million category in the rankings. It follows another strong year for the Corporate practice, which included representing Cohort’s subsidiary Marlborough Communications on its acquisition of Interactive Technical Solutions. Clients commented that the team “stands out for its responsiveness, commercial understanding and ability to communicate clearly. Their collaborative, client-focused approach creates real value.”

Kate Francis maintained her Band 1 ranking in Corporate/M&A: £10-100 million. She was recognised for her expertise in domestic and cross-border M&A, as well as in capital markets transactions. Clients commended her as “an excellent, commercially-focused and approachable partner who understands our business and our drivers”, as well as being “responsive, sensible [and] vastly experienced”.

Mark Taylor was also ranked in Corporate/M&A: £10-100 million, with his strong practice advising on public and private M&A, and issues governed by the Takeover Code. He was praised as a “well-seasoned practitioner” who is “great to work with”.

Kate Francis, who is also co-head of the Dorsey London office, said: “We are delighted to have once again been recognised by Chambers & Partners. The rankings reflect the exceptional work and dedication of our Corporate team in London.”
