International law firm Dorsey & Whitney is supporting Nova Capital Management with a recent transaction involving one of its portfolio companies, CorpAcq, as it looks to go public on the NYSE through its business combination with US SPAC, Churchill Capital Corp VII.

The Dorsey team is led by Partner Fabrizio Carpanini, who is head of the firm’s London and Continental Europe Private Equity Group, and Dorsey Associate Kanika Mathew, who is also based in the firm’s London Transactions Group.

“CorpAcq’s deal with Churchill provides the perfect platform to achieve its intention of securing a public listing and help fuel and continue its impressive growth strategy,” said Carpanini. “We’re thrilled to be supporting Nova on this deal.”

The transaction, which has been approved by the Boards of Directors of CorpAcq and Churchill VII, is expected to close in late 2023 or early 2024 and is subject to approval by Churchill VII's shareholders, among other customary closing conditions.
