Dorsey represents some of China’s largest and most active corporations, including Chinese central government-owned enterprises, state-owned enterprises, top financial institutions – such as banks, insurance companies and asset management companies – and leading Internet enterprises, listed companies and top unicorns enterprises, private equity funds, as well as high net-worth individuals and family offices. The firm’s representation spans a wide range of practice areas and industries and some matters are particularly high-profile attracting extensive media focus.
The awards are based on law firm submissions and industry feedback received by China Business Law Journal, including more than 1,000 comments from corporate executives, in-house counsel and senior practitioners, in order to pick out the top-performing firms in 2021 in each field. Apart from peer nominations, China Business Law Journal also received selections from government institutions, the judiciary and academia. The evaluation process takes months of research.
