Dorsey & Whitney recently opened its 22nd office in Chicago, marking a significant expansion in one of the nation’s largest legal and business markets. The expansion is led by Managing Partner Peter Nelson, who was recently interviewed by the Minnesota Star Tribune about the firm’s long-term growth strategy.

“For me, growth is a priority,” Nelson said. The Chicago office launched with seven partners and is expected to grow to 25 attorneys within its first year, with plans to reach at least 50 attorneys within three years.

Nelson also outlined plans to continue expanding the firm’s Minneapolis headquarters, with a goal of adding at least 35 attorneys over the next three years, reinforcing Dorsey’s commitment to strategic growth in both new and established markets.
