International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Mark B. Durrant has joined its Real Estate Group as a partner in the Firm’s Salt Lake City office.

Mr. Durrant’s practice concentrates on transactions involving real property. His experience encompasses a wide range of matters, including the acquisition, development, financing and sale of office buildings, apartment buildings, condominiums, condominium hotels, timeshares, and shopping centers; development of commercial and resort properties; development of planned communities; private residence clubs; golf courses; community structuring; real estate foreclosures; commercial office, retail and industrial leasing; and zoning and entitlement matters.

Mr. Durrant has been voted by his peers throughout the state as one of Utah’s “Legal Elite” in the category of Real Estate Law (as published in Utah Business Magazine).

Before joining Dorsey, Mr. Durrant was shareholder of Ray Quinney & Nebeker PC in Salt Lake City. He received his law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University and a B.A. in English from Brigham Young University.
