In a featured interview by Caixin, one of China's leading economics and finance media group, Partner Catherine Pan-Giordano of Dorsey's New York office discussed the accounting and compliance issues faced by many Chinese public companies listed in the United States, and how to reestablish credibility of Chinese public companies among US investors. Ms. Pan-Giordano further discussed going private transactions and management buyouts as an option for some of these Chinese companies, the stocks of which are greatly undervalued in the US trading market. Ms. Pan-Giordano has been representing a series of Chinese clients in dealing with these issues, including finding solutions for them through transactions or litigation.
