Canadian companies doing business anywhere abroad have long faced criminal and regulatory sanctions from the US. They now face new dangers from the UK, whose courts now have long arm jurisdiction introduced by its Bribery Act over many Canadian companies. In addition, expanding business in China highlights the importance for Canadians in understanding that market.
