Megan M. Newell

Megan assists in the preparation of financing documents and agreements which play a key role in facilitating funding for vital public projects. She also assists in urban renewal initiatives, contributing to the revitalization and development of communities. She works closely with the Iowa Finance Authority on various funding sources such as the Beginning Farmer Loan Program, Single Family Mortgage Program, and the State Revolving Fund Program.

Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa which enhances her ability to understand and navigate the complexities of the public finance sector.

In her free time, Megan enjoys being outdoors, getting lost in a good read, spending time with her two rescue dogs, and traveling to new destinations with her partner.
