Overview
Brittany is an associate in Dorsey & Whitney LLP’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group. With a diverse background in various aspects of litigation, Brittany brings significant expertise to pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, arbitrations, and appeals. Her practice focuses on intellectual property disputes, as well as complex commercial disputes.
Prior to joining Dorsey & Whitney, Brittany clerked for the Honorable Rebecca R. Freyre of the Colorado Court of Appeals, where she gained invaluable insight into appellate practice and judicial decision-making. Before law school, Brittany worked as a case manager at a boutique law firm, where she honed a strong understanding of legal processes and client service.
Beyond her legal practice, Brittany is deeply committed to pro bono work. She has assisted pro se litigants as part of the U.S. District Court for Colorado’s Pro Bono Panel Program and continues to support nonprofit organizations serving historically underrepresented populations. This dedication to pro bono service reflects her passion for ensuring access to justice for all.
Brittany is also a strong advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the legal profession. In 2023, she was a class member of the Colorado Diverse Attorney Community Circle (CODACC) Program with the Colorado Bar Association. She is now proud to serve on the Planning Committee for the 2025 CODACC Class, furthering efforts to support and uplift diverse attorneys in Colorado.
With a deep understanding of both the technical and strategic dimensions of litigation, Brittany works diligently to achieve favorable outcomes for clients in high-stakes and multi-faceted legal matters, all while remaining dedicated to making the legal field more inclusive and accessible.
Outside of work, Brittany is like many Coloradans. She enjoys spending time in the mountains and paddle boarding on the lake.
