Kam has acted for and advised world-renowned and multinational clients in the various contentious matters. Kam also has experience in Hong Kong litigation matters, ranging from the High Court to the Court of Final Appeal.

  • Advised and represented liquidators of a former Hong Kong-listed holding company of a group with major operations in Mainland China in a claim against a major auditor for audit negligence, seeking damages of over US$100 million.*
  • Advised and represented liquidators of a former Hong Kong-listed holding company of a group with major operations in Mainland China in claims against the company’s former CEO and director for breach of fiduciary duties and misappropriations.*
  • Acted on behalf of a London-based QC in seeking to be admitted in Hong Kong on an ad hoc basis, on the novel point of whether an overseas lawyer may be admitted to appear with a Hong Kong solicitor advocate without a local barrister.*
  • Advised on potential trusts and estate claims arising from a set of complex family trusts.*
  • Assisted in an international dispute involving breach of contract and distributorship agreement, successfully obtaining an urgent ex-parte injunction to restrain the defendant from using the claimant’s trademarks in business.*
