Overview

Mackenzie Cannon uses her background in legislative affairs to help clients develop creative and innovative solutions to complex legal problems.

Mackenzie has experience in commercial litigation, healthcare litigation, labor and employment law, and product liability defense, in both State and Federal court. Mackenzie began her law career by spending two years working for Senator Mike Lee on the Senate Judiciary Committee. As part of that practice, she worked with individuals from all political backgrounds to find bipartisan solutions to complex legal questions. She now uses that experience to help clients develop litigation strategies that work for them and their business.

During law school, Mackenzie completed an externship at Hogan Lovells in Madrid, Spain. She also helped draft multiple amicus briefs that were submitted to the United States Supreme Court. She has a strong commitment to pro bono work, and has worked on both criminal and immigration cases in that capacity.
