The Children's Law Center of Minnesota Selected Dorsey as the 2008 Recipient of its “Distinguished Service Award for Children”

The “Distinguished Service” award stems from CLC’s grateful recognition of the many Dorsey attorneys who have given their time to make children’s voices heard in the legal system. Karen Pogonowski, Tom Swigert, Gretchen Agee, Apu Chakraborty, Kim Fuhrman, Joe Hammell, Corwin Kruse, Steve Lucke, Sonny Miller, Peder Nestingen, and many others including Pete Hendrixson, who was President of the Board of Children's Law Center, and now serves as Past President, have generously given their time to CLC matters.

The Children's Law Center of Minnesota promotes the rights and interests of Minnesota's children, especially children of color and children with disabilities, in the judicial, child welfare, health care and education systems. Since CLC’s founding in 1995, the group has helped more than 1,200 children in child protection proceedings.
