Dorsey associate Katina Banks was named one of "Forty Under 40" rising stars by the Denver Business Journal. The annual awards focus on a diverse group of young, dynamic business leaders - each under the age of 40 - whose efforts in the office and the community are shaping the future of the Denver area. Prior recipients have included small business owners, bankers, architects, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, research scientists and retailers.
Banks, a member of Dorsey's trademark, copyright and brand management group, rated highly in business leadership, recognition of accomplishments and community involvement. In accepting the award, Banks said she was hitting her stride as a trademark attorney. "I really like how it all fits together. I'm able to help people who might have made mistakes registering their trademarks. It feels good to know that I helped protect a particular brand."
