MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. (March 15, 2005) – The law firm of Dorsey & Whitney LLP today announced that Paul Torgerson, former Dorsey partner and Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of Fairview Health Services, has rejoined the firm effective March 14.
Torgerson will return to take on a significant leadership position at Dorsey, Managing Principal of Dorsey Health Strategies, the firm's health care consulting business. He will also be a partner in the firm’s Health group. In both capacities, Paul will leverage his deep experience as a health system executive and health lawyer to advise clients on the issues crucial to their business success.

Prior to his tenure at Fairview, Torgerson had been with Dorsey for 20 years, most recently as head of the firm’s Health group. Prior to his legal career, Torgerson practiced as a Certified Public Accountant. He earned his B.A. from Luther College and his law degree from the University of Minnesota.
