International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Partner Elizabeth Buckingham has been named to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Women in Business.

Ms. Buckingham is Chair of the Firm’s Trademark, Copyright, Advertising and Brand Management group. Her practice focuses on developing effective branding and policing strategies for clients and handling clients’ intellectual property matters in transactions.

This year's Business Journal Women in Business awards recognize 47 women, including one Career Achievement honoree, for their professional achievements, leadership and contributions to the broader Twin Cities community. The honorees include industry-leading executives and entrepreneurs. Editors selected the winners from hundreds of nominations.

“We are extremely pleased that Liz has been recognized as one of this year’s top Women in Business,” noted Dorsey Managing Partner Ken Cutler. “This is a much deserved recognition for Liz. She has an incredibly successful practice and chairs the Firm’s Trademark, Copyright, Advertising and Brand Management group. It is gratifying to see another one of our women partners recognized for being at the absolute top of her profession.”

All honorees will be featured in the May 18 Women in Business publication and recognized at a luncheon on May 17, 2018 at The Armory in Minneapolis.
