At the upcoming Children’s Law Center of Minnesota (CLC) 23rd Celebration of Champions Annual Benefit, we celebrate three champions in the child protection industry. The event, which takes place on Thursday, October 11, from 5:00 – 8:30 pm at Windows on Minnesota, concludes with the presentation of three prestigious awards.

The Heroes for Children Award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the well-being of Minnesota’s children in either a career or volunteer position. This year’s recipient is Richard Hooks Wayman. The Rosalie E. Wahl Justice for Children award is presented annually to someone who has dedicated their life to fighting for justice for at-risk or underprivileged children in our communities. This year’s recipient is Craig Luedemann. The Distinguished Service Award will be presented to the law firm of Greene Espel PLLP in recognition of outstanding commitment to pro bono services for foster care youth.
