International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Bridget Logstrom Koci, a partner in the Firm’s Minneapolis office, has been appointed Minnesota State Chair Elect for the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

Ms. Logstrom Koci has advised and assisted clients in all facets of estate planning, trust and estate administration and trust and estates litigation for over 30 years. She is the co-Chair of Dorsey’s Trusts and Estates Litigation practice and the Firm’s Recruiting Chair. She is also co-Chair of the Litigation Committee, Minnesota State Bar Association Probate and Trust Law Section, has been a Fellow of the ACTEC since 2000 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in American and Minnesota Super Lawyers.

The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) is a nonprofit association of lawyers established in 1949. Its members are elected to the College by demonstrating the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors.

Based upon the Minnesota State Committee’s recommendation, Ms. Logstrom Koci has been appointed to the role by ACTEC’s incoming president, Mr. Bruce Stone of Florida. She will begin her duties in the spring of 2015. Her duties as the successor Minnesota State Chair will begin following the annual spring ACTEC meeting in March 2016.
