International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Clinton Conner has joined the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group in the Firm’s Minneapolis office as Of Counsel.

Mr. Conner’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation with an emphasis on patent litigation and patent enforcement strategies. He has represented Japan-based clients in U.S. patent litigation and counseled clients on U.S. and international patent law issues. Mr. Conner has extensive experience handling patent issues relating to semiconductor manufacturing, hard disk manufacturing, medical devices, rare earth magnets, digital cameras, optics, imaging and printing, wireless network protocols, GUI interfaces, navigation systems, visual search technology, online real-time auction systems, interactive programming guides, and software. He received his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law and his B.S.E. degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining Dorsey, Mr. Conner was Of Counsel to Morrison & Foerster LLP in the firm’s Tokyo office. Before that he was an associate with Ropes & Gray LLP in the firm’s New York, Palo Alto and Tokyo offices.
