International law firm Dorsey & Whitney is delighted to announce that Peter Corne will be joining the firm as a partner and will head its Shanghai office. Peter is currently Managing Director of Eversheds Shanghai office, which he has led since 2006.
Having worked in Shanghai since 1996, Mr. Corne is widely regarded as one of the leading practitioners in the PRC as well as one of the foremost commentators on PRC investment law. He represents a number of multinational clients including Coca-Cola in their M&A transactions, corporate restructuring and equity/asset acquisitions of foreign-invested companies and State-owned enterprises. Peter also has significant experience in renewable energy projects and has spearheaded one of the foremost antitrust practices in the PRC.
