MINNEAPOLIS (April 15, 2010) - International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Jay Johnson has joined the Regulatory Affairs group in the firm’s Washington DC office as Of Counsel. His practice focuses on the regulatory, environmental and litigation aspects of infrastructure and natural resource development projects, food and agriculture biotechnology, and federal land policy. He also has significant experience in environmental litigation and other complex environmental disputes.

Previously, Mr. Johnson was a senior Associate with Mayer Brown in Washington DC. He started his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable David A. Nelson, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and joined Mayer Brown as an associate in 2002. Mr. Johnson received a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. (2001) from the University of Virginia School of Law.
