SEATTLE - (August 18, 2009) - International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced that the Chambers and Partners survey of law firms ranked multiple Dorsey practice groups and individual lawyers in the state of Washington.
Three Dorsey practice groups were ranked by Chambers including a top band ranking for the firm's Intellectual Property practice. In addition, six Dorsey lawyers were individually ranked. Dorsey partners and practices in Washington ranked by Chambers for 2009 include:

In their annual review of the US legal services market, Chambers ranks practices and lawyers within states and at the national level. The Chambers rankings are based on an intensive on-going research methodology that includes in-depth interviews of lawyers and their clients. During these interviews, broad perspective on practice areas as well as specific commentary on individual lawyers is requested. Firm wide, Dorsey has 56 attorneys ranked by Chambers in 2009, up from 47 in 2008. In addition, 23 Dorsey practices are ranked in 2009, up from 21 in 2008.
