Prior to becoming Director, he had served with the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility for over twenty years.
Judge Jorgensen has been an adjunct faculty member at William Mitchell Law School teaching Professional Responsibility and Legal Practicum since 1991. He has also served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Minnesota and Hamline Law Schools. In addition, he is a frequent CLE lecturer.
Commenting on the announcement, Dorsey Managing Partner Marianne D. Short said, “Ken is a terrific addition to the Firm as he brings a deep understanding of the law and perspective gained from his time on the bench and at the Lawyers Board. He has shown a strong commitment to the ethical practice of law as well as to the development of new lawyers through his work as an adjunct instructor at local law schools. I am very pleased that he has decided to make Dorsey his next home.”
