IRVINE, CALIF. - International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP has named Juan C. Basombrio as the new partner-in-charge of the firm's Southern California office, located in Irvine, California.
A long-time member of the Dorsey global legal team, Mr. Basombrio represents clients throughout the United States, and internationally, in complex business litigation and arbitration.

A partner in the Dorsey Trial department, Mr. Basombrio represents clients in a broad range of business litigation matters throughout the United States and abroad. He serves on the board of advisors of a national bank, has served on the alumni board of directors of his law school, and is involved in civic activities. Mr. Basombrio has been named in The Best Lawyers in America, including the 2008 edition. He received his J.D. in 1989 from Indiana University School of Law, and his B.A. in 1986 from the University of Houston.
