Ranked 11th out of 500 US firms for overall client service
Dorsey & Whitney has been awarded exceptional rankings in an independent survey of in-house legal counsel.
The independent researchers, BTI Consulting Group, polled over 250 in-house legal counsel at Fortune 1000 and other large companies, and asked them to evaluate US law firms based on 17 client relationship factors. BTI found that Dorsey was one of only four US law firms given the highest possible ranking from in-house counsel for quality of advice on key business issues. In addition, Dorsey was graded 11th in the US for overall client service - out of over 500 law firms ranked. Dorsey's assessments from in-house counsel earned it a place within the "BTI Client Service 30," the group that BTI designates as the nation's very best law firms for client satisfaction.
BTI has issued annual law firm client satisfaction studies for the past seven years. The attributes it measures include legal skills, client focus, understanding of the client's business, international capability, value for money and commitment to help. BTI rankings reflect the frequency with which a firm is mentioned, the nature of the attributes for which the firm is cited and the value that clients assign to each attribute. Firms nominated by clients for strategic, high-value service factors receive more credit than those cited for less differentiated and lower-value attributes.
