Dorsey partner Michael Lindsay commented in Global Competition Review on Congressional efforts to overturn the recent Supreme Court decision in Leegin v. PSKS. In Leegin, the court overturned a nearly 100-year-old rule that made any minimum price deals between manufacturers, suppliers or licensors "per se" illegal. A U.S. Senate bill, sponsored by Senator Herbert Kohl, would again make agreements on minimum sale prices illegal.

Lindsay suggested that any attempt to reverse Leegin would likely harm consumers, because resale price agreements should improve the quality of goods.

"Clinton behind bill to overturn Leegin" was published by the Global Competition Review magazine, November 13, 2007.
