Ebony magazine named Dorsey partner Cornell Moore to its "Ebony Power 150: The Most Influential Blacks in America," an annual compilation that seeks to reflect "the power and broad impact that African-Americans have on society." First established in 1963 as a list of "100+ Most Influential Black Americans," this year's honorees included Senator Barack Obama, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, Merrill Lynch CEO E. Stanley O'Neil, poet Maya Angelou, entertainer and activist Bill Cosby, and actress/producer Halle Berry.

Moore, who currently serves as Grand Sire Archon (president) of the Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, was recognized by Ebony as among the leaders of independent national organizations that command widespread influence and promote ongoing programs affecting the interests of African Americans. Sigma Pi Phi, whose members have included W.E.B. Du Bois, Thurgood Marshall, and Martin Luther King, Jr., helps provide scholarships to young men and women pursuing undergraduate and graduate education.

"The "Ebony Power 150: Most Influential Blacks in American" was published by Ebony magazine, April 2007.
